The Baldwin County Democratic Committee (BCDC) is the official local organizing body of the Democratic Party of Georgia. The BCDC meets quarterly, on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7pm at the Allied Arts Building ( the old Allen’s market) on 201 N Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061. The meetings are open to the public, and all are invited to attend.
We also maintain six standing subcommittees: Candidate Development, Communications, Community Engagement, Fundraising, Membership and Affirmative Action, and Special Projects. All are invited to join a subcommittee. You can find out more about how to get involved.
Here are some of the ways you can help us promote progressive, Democratic values and elect Democratic candidates in Baldwin County and beyond:
- Attend the Baldwin County Democratic Committee (BCDC) monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, at 7pm, the Allied Arts Building ( the old Allen’s market) on 201 N Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
- Become a member of the The Baldwin County Democratic Committee.
- Join one of the BCDC’s six standing subcommittees: Candidate Development, Communications, Community Engagement, Fundraising, Membership and Affirmative Action, or Special Projects.
- Government, and especially local government, is made of regular citizens—like you—stepping up to make government run. If you’re interested, or even maybe interested, let us know you might like to run for office and we can help you learn what’s involved!
